Abstract
This research discusses public policy on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in empowering communities to enhance economic growth in Indonesia. Through a descriptive approach with a normative juridical research type, this study analyzes the legal foundations of CSR implementation in Indonesia, the public policy strategies needed to optimize CSR's contribution to sustainable economic growth in Indonesia, and the role of CSR in empowering communities for inclusive economic growth. This research aims to evaluate the impact of public policy on CSR on community empowerment and economic growth in Indonesia. The research employs a descriptive approach with a normative juridical research type. The utilized approaches include legal regulation and conceptual approaches. The results show that public policy on CSR has significant potential to strengthen the relationship between the private sector and the community by facilitating access to resources and greater economic opportunities for the community. Additionally, the research also highlights the challenges and obstacles faced in the implementation of CSR policies, along with policy recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of public CSR policies in the future. Thus, this research provides valuable insights for policymakers, practitioners, and academics in understanding the role of public CSR policy in enhancing economic growth and community empowerment in Indonesia.
