USER SATISFACTION ON FACILITIES PROVIDED BY LOCAL UNIVERSITIES: A CASE STUDY IN MALAYSIA

Abstract
University facilities and student satisfaction are very important to meet the interests of both sides, whether the students or the responsible superiors. The study focuses more about students at the campus. University facilities and student satisfaction are important to foster a conducive learning environment. Well-equipped facilities such as libraries, dormitories, laboratories and recreational spaces, contribute to a positive educational experience by providing resources and space for academic and personal development. Therefore, the goal of this research is to determine the satisfaction by students about university facilities provided by the universities. All data was collected using Google Form questionnaire, which was filled out by students from various faculties and levels of education at one of the university in Malaysia. The survey was performed from December 1, 2023 to January 24, 2024 and 210 students have responded. The result indicates that two out of six hypotheses were accepted. The findings indicate that Library Facilities and Entertainment Facilities that have a significant impact on students satisfaction compared to another four hypotheses that have not significant which were Lecturer Room Facility, Computer Facilities, Accommodation Facilities and Employment Facilities.This study may be useful for academic research and has impacts for the university facilities and also students satisfaction.
