Abstract
This research aims to examine the influence of economic development on changes in economic policies in Indonesia, particularly how such changes impact the increase in investment, especially Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). Employing a descriptive-analytical method and a qualitative approach, this study was conducted through the collection and analysis of data from relevant documents. The research findings indicate a significant relationship between national development and changes in economic policies, subsequently facilitating the increase in FDI in Indonesia. These findings underscore the importance of economic policy reforms as a response to the dynamics of economic development and illustrate how policy changes can catalyze attracting foreign investment. This study provides new insights into the dynamics of economic development and policy changes in Indonesia and their implications for increased investment, which is crucial for policymakers and researchers in the fields of economics and development.
