Abstract

The development of the tourism sector plays a crucial role in the economic growth of a country, including Indonesia. This research analyzes the implementation of legal policies in national tourism development, focusing on how legal policies can enhance economic growth. The research method utilized is a normative approach using secondary data from primary and secondary legal sources. The findings and discussions indicate that the implementation of legal policies in tourism development involves various aspects, such as spatial planning, infrastructure development, tourism promotion, and human resource development. Additionally, the involvement of local governments and the optimization of Regional Original Revenue (PAD) are crucial factors in ensuring sustainable tourism growth. In a global context, the success of tourism development also depends on external factors such as information technology and political developments. Therefore, legal policies supporting tourism development should consider environmental aspects and accommodate global market dynamics. Thus, effective implementation of legal policies can contribute to greater economic growth through tourism sector development.
