Abstract
Indonesia's economic growth is largely driven by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), as they contribute significantly to the Gross Domestic Income (GDP) at 61.07 percent or 8,573.89 trillion rupiah. A normative juridical research method was used to determine that the involvement of MSMEs has a positive impact on state tax revenues, foreign exchange, and overall economic growth. Legal protection for MSME business licensing is vital, as it reflects factual legal protection and general recognition of MSME products. Having a business license instills confidence in consumers, increases profits, and contributes to the welfare of society. The government must supply effective legal defense for MSME business permits, considering their strategic role in national economic growth. MSME actors require easily obtainable enterprise permits to obtain necessary protection and make a positive contribution to national prosperity.
